Dog "D" shuts down President beating LCM 35 - 7.

With Cameron Bass out with an injury the first two plays went to Bryce Breaux for for a first down followed by a 24 yard pass from Bellow to Cardenas. Things were looking good but three plays later a tipped ball fell into LCM's hands. A big stop by Krautz and Gutierrez had LCM missing a field goal attempt wide left and the Dogs went to work. Cardenas, Vidrine, Broussard and Breaux took turns and Bellow capped off the TD run with a 16 yard pass to Cardenas. LCM's next possession showed a powerful sweep but after two LCM first downs, the dogs put a stop to it and took their next possession in again but this time pass plays to Broussard, Brady, and Gutierrez. Dog "D" did not waste anytime with big stops by Krautz, Stewart, and Johnson making LCM go three and out. The Dogs started their next run with a Handoff to Freshman Brent Salenga who dashed 9 yards followed by what I like to call it - "SS connection" (S)ophomore Bellow to (S)ophmore Brady 62 yard pass run for 6 points - Trahan PAT 21 - 0

After a LCM interception, Slauter shot through the middle for a 28 yard TD. Which would be LCM's only score of the night. The Dog "D" was ruthless the rest of the night with Stewart, Johnson, Grogan destroying the sweep and chasing down President Driver backwards just about every possession. The Dogs forth TD drive was made up of Broussard and Breaux, with Bellow connecting with Breaux for a 19 yard TD pass - Trahan PAT 28 - 7

The dogs final TD run started at LCM 38 yard line with big pass play to Broussard, Paul Roy rushing and Breaux finishing it off with a 4 yard scamper around left end - PAT Trahan 35 - 7
